Anyone else beside me have it yet? What do you think of it?
I really like the improvements that they have made. The Snap feature actually responds and works now. Everything seems faster. http://news.softpedia.com/news/microsoft-windows-10-will-make-xbox-one-faster-and-more-social-493873.shtml http://www.cnet.com/news/xbox-one-and-windows-10-new-best-friends/ |

Will it constantly send info to Microsoft like Windows 10? Honestly I haven't played my One in months. The games are pure shit, the system is trying to be a jack of all trades and master of none. Not that I'm aware of. The system still does all of the old stuff you hate, but it's significantly faster at doing them. The new layout is a nice addition. They did pay more attention to gaming this time as I believe the Xbox One will get the DirectX 12 update. I can't confirm that, but everything seems to be running faster that smoother....(Including games) |

Xbox is for gaming, or occasional movie streaming. I'm not going to browse photos on my TV, wtf It's Windows 10 with a custom UI for Xbox. It's nothing like Windows....but it is windows. Make since? Plus Xbox One actually has 3 separate operating systems running simultaneously- Dashboard, gaming, and some other one I don't remember. |

I have it. I haven't noticed anything that makes a huge difference for me. It's organized differently. I'm not dissatisfied with it. I'm not jumping for joy. Just... neutral. I expect more improvements to be made before full release. True, but does it run much faster for you too? Maybe I'm the odd one out |

Could one run PC games on an XBOX with this update? No, but if you have a Windows 10 PC, you can stream/play your xbox games on that. I've tested this and it works great if you have a fast network. (My average bandwidth on High quality was 10Mbps) The computer doesn't need to be powerful at all for it to work. As long as the computer has windows 10 and can stream HD video, It should work. |

True, but does it run much faster for you too? Maybe I'm the odd one out I haven't noticed anything in particular. Possibly it's a tad snappier. It has locked up and gone through a full reset while playing Tomb Raider. But not unexpected with XB1 OS in beta as it is. |

I'm honestly a little shocked...For me it's as if it brought new life into my Xbox. Seems so much faster. |

Ok I will say if its easier to navigate to specific things it would be great. The current dashboard is a clusterfuck if you're trying to browse new add-ons or find game demos. I REALLY wish you could customize all of it. I would turn off everything except gaming and the store. |

Have they fixed the snap TV feature to where it doesn't scale your game down to 2/3 of the screen? I'm not really following. Are you referring to the letterbox effect when snapping? When snapping something on the screen, black bars must be appended across the top and bottom of the "main" portion of the screen in order to maintain the aspect ratio. So, if that is what you refer to, then... no, they haven't changed that. |

When you snap TV, or any app for that matter, it takes up the right 1/3 or 1/4 of the screen but the actual view of the TV is just a tiny one in the top right corner. It would be better if they had is as an overlay over top of the game you're playing and let you pick which corner to put it in and have different size options. |

They have actually been listening to their users and are adding Features that are the most requested. |

My gut feeling is TV as PiP isn't a planned feature. But i'm not XBOX dev or related to the program in any way other than as a consumer. |

Simply ask for a feature of allowing TV as a picture-in-picture window. With the added ability to place and size it. Hell... link us to your request and i'll +1 it. |

I put it in the 'live TV' section and it's titled: TV PiP on top of game play Found it. http://xbox.uservoice.com/forums/251610-live-tv/suggestions/10145532-tv-pip-on-top-of-game-play I voted on it and added my two cents. |

I might mention it to him as well. |
