I'm old enough to remember the previews of the X-Files when they were first broadcast (1993). My initial thoughts were that the show looked dumb, and that I would likely give it a pass. The I saw the first episode... and I was hooked. Hopefully, the mini-series will bring back the magic one more time. m |

They'll play the third episode first. Then change the time slot for the next 2 episodes, which are also not in order, and put the remaining 3 on Friday.

Never watched it. Saw two episodes, one had like inbreeds in a shack and another had some weird electromagnetic field over a town causing strange stuff. Both were good so I watched the movie.
I still don't get it, but the trailer looks good so I'll try to pick it up. Way too many back episodes to watch them, so I'll need the cliff notes. |

They are the heart of the series. You will miss some good "monster of the week" episodes, but, the alien stuff looks like the driver for this new series. You can probably get it down to a dozen or so episodes to get you up to speed, more or less. |
