Here are the Rules. These were set up without any of the injured workers knowledge. These are what is keeping 4 Million Dollars from the Red Cross and Who knows how much from The Twin Tower Fund to get to those injured. 1. The injured person was participating in an offical capacity as a first responder rescuer on Sept 11th 2001. 2. The injury took place on the site or immediate surrounding area of the WTC on Sept. 11th 2001. 3. The injured person was transported directly to a medical facility which resulted in admission to an in-patient unit of this or another hospital on Sept 11th: and 4. The injury has been persistent since Sept 11th: and 5. The injury is of such severity as to render the person incapable of full duty; and 6. The injury substantially limits mobility and/ or cognition; and 7: The injury requires ongoing medical attention and/ or regular follow-up with a rehab program prescribed by a physician Now the reason I am being denied is I was not an in-patient ON the 11th. I meet every other thing has you all know. I refused to be put into the Hospital the first day. I thought I would be back out the next day. Actually I wanted to go back that day and was ordered not to. I didn't realize I needed 2 operations and was injured so bad. All of you savvy computer people pass this around. Let people know how the money you donate is being kept out of injured workers hands. That no one knows about this unless you were denied. You need to understand the Hell we are going through. That we were promised help and are getting shafted. |
