Decided to give my electric smoker another try. Hoping that I can dial it in a little more today. Threw some center cut pork chops in the smoker with hickory and some applewood. Plan on smoking it at a low temp for an hour then tossing them on the grill for a manly reverse sear.

The protein, little bit of salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder.



The smoker, Masterbuilt 30" electric smoker.



The sauce I'll be adding during the grill, The Shed Southern Sweet.

Not bad. It's pork so you get points for that.
Electric smoker? Never been a fan.

Yea, electric smoker. Was a surprise birthday present, haven't dialed it in, but these were tasty and tender. I set it at 250, may set it at 225 next time I do this.

I like to live on the edge, so no weapons tonight.
