Big Country by Edgar Meyer. This song is entirely instrumental.

The Majestic Swan by Cadillac Sky. This is another instrumental song.

We Hide and Seek by Jerry Douglas. This is with Alison Krauss and Union station. Another instrumental song. Jerry Douglass is considered to be one of the best Dobro players to ever live. Alison has been playing the fiddle for 40 something years by now. Several years ago, she surpassed Dolly Parton as the most highly decorated female vocalist.

Pretend by Sierra Hull. I don't know much of anything about her.

Heart in a cage by Chris Thile. I think this is closer to what Arfcom would like.

Not me, so much.

I like instrumentals, for the most part. Then I end it with the sounds of a drunken redneck with an instrument.

I like instrumentals. I do however like to know it going in.
The latest Pink Floyd album is almost entirely instrumental. I would have liked to have more singing.
I like the music yes, but some words here and there would have been nice.

Lewis and Clark by Tommy Emmanuel. This is another instrumental. This dude is a nut on that guitar. His favorite guitar is worn the fuck out. It has a tone that is different from any other acoustic guitar, much like Stevie Ray Vaughan's "Number One," and Alison Krauss' favorite fiddle. The sound is extremely unique. The sound quality is sort of shit, but the resonant echo tone makes this song work.

Endless Road by Tommy Emmanuel. This is another good one. This is a happy song. It's a good song for a drive on a long gravel road. All instrumental.

Starry Night by Joe Satriani. Another instrumental. (Notice the pattern here? ) This is about as melodic as it gets. ESPECIALLY for old Joe. This is another highway song. It is road trip material.

Same here. I think I posted way too much music. Songs are scattered all over this damn thread like a shotgun pattern.

But Julie Fowlis... Damn... I can't understand a word she sang, but I kinda liked it that way

It varies greatly for me. Here lately its been Percy Sledge, Otis Redding, Maynard Ferguson and such.

It's good that you can smile about it.
