Walking around a gunshow today browsing with a Sig 556 that I'm looking to sell or trade and had two different people low ball with the excuse of "I have the same gun in 308"

The ignorance and idiocy never cease to amaze me at gun shows. I think it's good for a laugh, anymore.
Had a FAL I was carrying. More than one person asked to see it and while handling it asked, "What caliber is it"? It's an FAL. They are 7.62 nato. They're ALL the same caliber. Why would you waste someone's time when you have no clue as to what you're handling and no intention whatsoever in laying out 1200 bucks for the gun? But, I just smile and educate. (Yes, I know there are rare examples of other calibers) |
