I'm glad he's out. A small portion of the evangelical vote might have gone his way in the primaries...now a good chunk of those guys will go with Cruz. Now all we need to do is get rid of Huckabee and Cruz will own that block of voters...

That was just suspending his campaigning, not actually dropping out of the race.

In arf terms, he forgot to bold the thread title first time around so he had to do it over.

Or he was just the first to run out of money.

It's the same thing. The other guys aren't getting donations pouring in, either.

The RNC is still shitting its pants for pushing Jeb only to have him fall flat on his face despite all of Fox News' cheerleading and propaganda.

Graham has got to be running on fumes at this point. He can't be raising much money given that in order to estimate his chances of success one would have to use four or five places after the decimal point. He's just not a good investment for a lobbyist's money. He raised something like $4M from local supporters and businesses, but salaries alone will burn through that pretty quickly, let alone any actual ads or venue rentals. I bet he's the next to drop, as those few supporters he has can probably be coaxed into supporting Jeb, which would be who Graham would endorse no doubt.

Honestly, if it weren't for Bush, Perry might have made a good run.  Let's face it, our Texan accent is not popular with the USA right now, regardless of the words that are being spoken.  It will be another generation before a Texan can be elected POTUS.  'Merica prefers people named Hussein over a Texan

Bush wasn't his problem.  His debate flub last time around killed his chances this time before he even started, just like they killed his chances last time after it happened.

One bad soundbite is all it takes with the American voter.

If he had a fighting chance, he would have made a great president.

Since he doesn't, I'm glad to see him dip out early for his family's sake.  He deserves so quality time outside of the perpetual gaze of the blood sucking "journalists" that have more than played their part in wrecking this country.

Since he's out, I'd love to see Cruz, or even Fiorina take the lead, but it looks like president hair peice is gonna be the guy.

I think Paul and Carson are good men, but won't get anywhere near the support they need.
Not sure about Jeb yet.

The rest of them are chumps.

It wasn't really a bad sound bite per se, it was that he was a flaming, fiery moron.  The fact that he doubled down on trying to look not stupid and started wearing glasses didn't help.  For the few people still balls deep in his amazing hair who defend him with "Well, he was all quacked out on pain pills because he was in a biking accident prior to the debate, I can't help you.  If your chosen candidate is so goddamn stupid he

  •  Can't stop riding a bike during a critical window like a campaign trail

  •  Can't hold a quicky press conference saying he's been gravely injured doing something that the average person doesn't do (thus gaining him hard core cred)

  •  Can't hire handlers who can keep him off the TV or manage that kind of simple press statement

  •  Can't sit down and have the foresight to NOT do a highly televised while wacked out on pain pills

He should probably just sit back and spend his time on the book and speech trail sucking money out of the same slack-jawed cattle who'd want him in office in the first place.
