Lenny Kravitz, put this anti American SOB with the Dixie Shits. I *used* to like him. But I'll vote with my $$$ as often as I can.

Call your radio stations and tell them not to play him. It worked on the " Slits".

Won't work the same with him. We EXPECT all these celebs to think this way. The reason the Chicks are pissing us off is that they dissed our President and country on foreign soil. That is TOALLY traitorous. They're all traitors, but the Chicks went WAY over the line and their listeners are mostly WITH the president and country. Whereas Kravitz' listeners (and Beastie Boys, System of a Down, etc) are mostly kids without a clue who we expect to think like idiots.

Yeah, you're right. I guess it's just that people expect more from southern country girls. Anymore, I am TOTALLY surprized when I hear that ANY celeb is pro-America. That's truly sad.

JEAN-CLAUDE VAN DAMME
"Americans need to know that there are Hollywood stars who support President George Bush and believe he's doing the right thing by confronting Saddam Hussein. Those protesting (the war) are part of the axis of ignorance."

They list Tracy Scoggins there as well.  Remember her from Babylon5?  I'd like to take her 'shooting' any time.[shock]

A quote from R. Lee:

R Lee Ermey, who made his name as the fearsome drill sergeant in the film Full Metal Jacket, told The Telegraph that Streisand's views were far from representative of Hollywood as a whole.

"Once again, Barbra Streisand has opened her alligator-sized mouth wide before her humming-bird brain has had a chance to catch up," said Ermey. "Of course, she has the right to her opinion, but what she does is use the 'bully pulpit', helped by her fame, and people think she's talking for Hollywood."

Ermey, an ex-marine and outspoken supporter of Mr Bush and the war on terror, continued: "We need to do something about the situation before it turns round and bites us in the ass. Democrats are criticising President Bush for not spotting signs that 9/11 was coming. But they don't want him to act to stop the next disaster. Ms Streisand does not speak for me or many other folks in this business."

And in another bit about this, there was this coming down on Michael Moore:

Asked to explain his behavior, Moore replied simply, ''I am an American'' and was surprised by the fact that most considered this an inadequate response. Moore seemed bewildered in general by the reaction of the press, perhaps because he was applauded for a similar antiwar speech the night before at the Independent Spirit Awards.

But later dialogue revealed just how out of step he was with both Hollywood and Americans. One reporter asked whether Moore was afraid of being blacklisted in Hollywood as a result of his behavior. He responded: ''I don't work in Hollywood. I'm funded by Canadians and others who don't live here.''

It is surprising that one claiming to have his finger ''on the pulse of where the majority of Americans are at'' finds it difficult to fund his projects here in the United States.
