Why are images defaulting to https in the WYSIWYG editor?  If I use the Basic editor, and post this pic:  http://metaversemodsquad.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/aint-nobody-got-time-for-that.png

It posts as http and the image works in my Chrome browser.
Example:

I will edit and add the same image with WYSIWYG and it will default to https, even though I paste an http link, and Chrome doesn't display it.

Now it works

I fail.  I need more alcohol apparently.  I just posted that image in another thread and it defaulted to https.  Now it doesn't.  Shrug.

That image defaulted to https:// in IE, and I'm just looking at an "X".  It's been doing this for a while now with a whole bunch of picture files.  Dunno why.

What am I doing wrong here?

I have been having the same issue with Chrome, and thought I had narrowed it down to the editor I was using.  Not sure now.

Ha, I think I figured it out.  If I access ar15.com with https, it defaults the images to https.  If i go to http://www.ar15.com it will load the remote images with http.
