So last night my samsung note 4 popped up a icon that I didnt recognize. It said my SD card was not installed and I needed to insert it. I checked and it was installed correctly. After that It still said not recognized.
I removed it multiple times and got nothing. I restarted the phone and got nothing. Contacts are clean. Phone has been dropped in the past but nothing recently. I looked online and it seems that the samsungs have a history with the scandisk SD cards. Lots of people have reported this issue. Anyways, I need to get my photos off the card. I looked online and found some data recovery programs. I installed Recuva. I installed the SD card into a larger HC card adapter and inserted it into my PC. It will not recognize the card. There is a small switch on the side of the HC card that I have flipped back and forth and it still doesnt recognize the sd card being present. Any help?? |
