True, which is an improvement, IMHO.  It's very close though.  
I'd like a plain one as well. (The forearm checkering appears to be crooked in the pic above.) That barrel profile, sans sights, looks really good with that stock too.

The model 70 featherweight is the only other stock I've seen with that shape. It is pretty and feels great.
