Why the Fuck do schools have seperate bathroom facilities?
Make a bank of stallls, in view of teachers in the hall, have a half wall seperating the stalls from the hallway where a sink can be set up for hand washing. Bam. Higher level of supervision to minimize douchbaggery, stalls provide single unisex occupancy and open wash area provides public shaming for kids who don't wash their hands. |

My 14 year old neice has supposedly come out as gay because she thinks it's a brave thing to do...and of course, her fucked up mother thinks she is so brave. Funny thing is though, the neice didn't realize what gay was though until I asked if she really wanted to have sex with another girl. Her reply: "Gross!!! NO!!!" She ain't calling herself gay anymore. And her mother is still a fuck up. That 3rd graders parents are fuck ups. |

I really don't understand this transgender child thing. Isn't gender supposed to be a social construct? Why can't the kid just be a kid and use the same restrooms as every other child with two X chromosomes? Why does she have to call herself a boy to be happy?
One of my good friends was a huge tomboy. She played pee wee football and participated in other traditionally male activities, which was perfectly fine. She definitely had more in common with boys than girls, but that doesn't mean she was a boy. She started becoming more feminine during high school. She's married and has a couple of kids now. Let the kid hit puberty and decide if they still want to be transgender. |

i'm not sure how things are now, but i remember going to the head in elementary school and there wasn't anyone there to monitor the facilities. i remember situations when kids got bullied in the head.
children are smarter than what we credit them for. i'm willing to bet that there are a more than a few that are wise to the situation. so, what happens when this transgender kid gets bullied in the bathroom that isn't monitored? |

To be honest that's about the only thing I think they can do to solve these "issues" about bathrooms. that way everyone has privacy too. individual bathrooms. the idea of putting the sinks outside is good too. |

It's a no win solution for them. |

I have fond memories of the girl next door that did everything the boys did ever summer. I have even fonder memories of all the fun we had with out my other friends when she decided she liked me more. Even if I did turn I to a anti social little shit when they stopped letting her come down every summer. |
