| My LGS owner only charges me a single transfer fee, no matter if I buy one or more lowers/guns at one time. Is this a standard practice among FFL's because they are all on one 4473 or do some shops gouge you for $25 each lower/gun? Just wondering. |

Different rules at different places.
Some places whack you every fee they can Some give a deal to regular customers Some choose to do cheap transfers as a way to bring new customers in the door. Some FFL get all twisted up if somebody buys on line and do their best to pile on the fees to "punish" the customer. One thing to point out how they could have possibly done something on price if they had been asked but sticking it to a potential customer. and driving them elsewhere doesn't seem like good business. Like any other business , if you feel the guy is treating you OK , try to give him more of your business to keep him around , if you don't like it look elsewhere |
