Howdy...

Please keep me and my family in your prayers. I was on a hike with my brother and a few friends in Washington. Brother fell 50' off a cliff. Died on impact. Me and my friend rushed down to him to administer cpr. We were too late. Family just flew in from Dallas. Not sure what's going to happen in the next few days. He was going to be a freshman at UTD with a fill ride scholarship. Would have been 19 next month.

This. I'm very sorry for your family's loss. But don't go down the path of beating yourself up with the should've/could've thoughts.

I'm sure the loss is still sinking in and it's really easy to go there. Don't, please.

Words are always so frail when such a thing happens. I hope you and yours can find peace on the other side of this.
