I know this is not the handloading forum, but I have a few tips that might prove useful.
When you order something from Brownells keep the cardboard box. The box will hold three hundred .308 rounds. When you go to the range, see if you can find the plastic sleeves that Federal uses to pack their ammo. You can fit 30 sleeves in the Brownells box. The sleeves hold ten rounds each and they fit inside the Brownells box ten deep and three across. Take a look:
