| I having a 99th birthday party for my Father in and a retirement party for me on Saturday. I plan on doing pull pork but with 60-70 people coming I have no idea how much pork I need. I plan to start smoking on Tuesday. I need to purchase the pork tomorrow.. How much pork do I need? |

How much pork do I need? i always like to figure 1/2 to a full pound per person. someone will always take home whatever is left over.

Well I statred with 30lbs of pork subtracted the fizbin and added 87. I then divided by the henweigh and came up with 31.5 lbs of pork butt for the party. The smoker is going with 17lbs. of pork butt, plus 5 regular brats, and 5 Irish garlic brats on the side. In about 5 hrs I will check and see what is going on with the smoker.
I hope I followed GD formula right

| The only way he agreed to a party was combining the two. He did not want to put any one out. When it rained he wanted to cancel it because some one might get wet. We brought my FIL over to the party at 2 pm, told him we would take him home when ever he wanted to. The mosquitoes finally got to bad at 8:30pm. |
