Looks like ISIS is doing the executing. The executioner was bitching about how the people they were holding helped Assad, supported Shias, hurt their lands instead of hurting Tehran, etc... I'm pretty sure ISIS is not pro-assad, pro-iran, pro sunni |

Sometimes the Shia/Sunni split isn't as straight as we hoped, and some of these groups are starting to off each other off for sake of territory and money. ISIS has taken a beating from Assad, Syrian Kurds, Pershmerga, and some of the Shia militias. The small dog (Jaysh al-Islam) finally got to bite back at the big dog on the block. The only people that Muslims hate more than Muslims are other Muslims. |
