People had hopes for him coming into office following Kathleen Blanco which was a dumpster fire. The new wore off really quick and he proved time and time again he really doesn't mesh well with the way politics works. Sad but you need to know if you are going to get votes in congress to go your way. He was suprised and paid catch up many times. Having said that I like him a lot and I went to school with him, although I couldn't have picked him from a lineup when he first ran for the legislature. |
