I'm assuming you mean "a message on Ar15.com.

1. Subscribe to an online photo provider. I use Tinypic.com.

2. Upload your pic to the provider.

3. Your provider will offer you a list of URLs (internet addresses) you may use for various pics. Usually you will use the one that has [img*]  and [/img*] (without the asterisks). Using the bracketed img tags tells the arfcom server that you are inserting a photograph, and will insert the photo for you. Copy that url and paste it into the response you are writing.

Open this response using the Quote button and you will see an example; I've put a pic here.



The fourth button from the right, directly under the white editing pane, will insert the tags for you.


*The reason I put asterisks in the bracketed img tags is to prevent the computer from assuming there's a picture following.

Once you have a hosting account set up, it takes about 8 seconds to post a pic.
