Many of us don't know how to tie our shoes properly. Many of us are heathen who wear socks with sandals. You may think you've mastered this life skill, but you've probably been doing it wrong for your entire life.
Here's a helpful video on how to do it right, and know that you've done it right.

Anyone who doesn't know the difference between a granny knot and a square knot, and their corresponding bow knots, by age six is a hopeless tenderfoot. Many modern shoelaces are so slippery that the action of trouser cuffs on them cause them to untie frequently even when tied in a proper square bow. The good news is they never jam. |
