I was at J. Henges Dept. of Conservation shooting range sighting in my CETME. I had been there a couple hours. There was only about 5 other shooters but this guy walks up and takes a Lake City 7.62 reload out of my bag of ammo and looks it over. He seemed a little different than the usual people you meet there. He asked what I was loading with so I told him but I felt I was being profiled. When they called cease fire I looked for him but he was gone. When I left, at the gate there was a bomb and arson van positioned so he could see who was in a car and license plate number. This is really bothering me. Has anyone had a similar experience?

I don't poke bears, Smokey's, LEO's,Feds, ATF or any critter that can make me have a bad day. But that's why I looked for him. I thought of 50 things I could have said but I knew something wasn't right with him. Any LEO's want to chime in? Oh ya I sold my CETME that night

I have seen some funny, ridiculous, dangerous, and out right sad shit at that place. The only guarantee at Jay Henges is something dangerous is going to happen, and the range officer will get pissed off and yell over the intercom. People out right missing the targets is another common occurance. It's typically the gun's fault, too.

That range is a magnet for fuck sticks and nosy morons. It is a range that is funded by the conservation department. The lane fees are $3 an hour. Shit happens. |
