Well "Sniper 2" is out on DVD so I watched it. It wasn't that bad. It was an action/ fun film, not any serious movie; but for what it was I thought it was okay. There was some scenes involving sniping that I thought they tried to make reasonably interesting and not too silly, though they did steal something from "Enemy at the Gates."

It was not as awful as "Behind Enemy Lines" but it sure was not a good movie that attempted to treat the subject matter realisticly and respectfully like "Blackhawk Down" or "Saving Private Ryan;" nor was it a very good action movie like "Heat" or "The Way of the Gun" but it was an amusing waste of an hour and half.

Are you kidding?!?

It was a giant turd of a movie.

The MAUSER was actually a Moisin Nagant.

And I don't even know where to begin with the tactical errors and blunders.

Tom Berringer tossing around "canned" lines.

300 round mags, apparantly.

And WHAT was up with that 360 degree MP5 spin technique?
