| Does anyone else experience a reoccuring dream in which they are armed (with whatever weapon) and battling zombies, aloha snackbars, insert enemy here and their weapon always jams / malfunctions? This happens at least once a month and is extremely frustrating. I'm certain there is an obvious underlying meaning but I can't fully translate. What sayeth the hive? |
Yup... all my guns have 100lb trigger pulls in my dreams . I have moved out of this house so it doesn't happen anymore but i used to always dream that someone was walking into my room with a hatchet and i would grab my Glock that i keep next to the bed and get the slack out of the trigger but I didn't have the strength to actually get the trigger to break. Sometimes i can get it to break but it is extremely difficult and I am wildly inaccurate. Needless to say, I don't survive many of my dreams haha. I have several friends that can't pull the trigger in dreams too

Not gun related, but, I used to have a reoccurring dream where I was trying to run from, (or to), something and my legs weighed a ton. I would physically have to use my arms to make my legs move and of course I could never get to or away from whatever it was I was running to or from.

I used to have "naked in public" dreams all the time. Only rarely did I wake up to actually find myself naked in public. Then they abruptly stopped and I haven't had one in years. I have no idea why. Perhaps I am a closet nudist. Did it coincide with alcohol consumption? I've seen this phenomenon before. |

"Recur" is the word you seek, as in "recurring dream". Sheesh. |

That and ..
Anytime I'm crossing a bridge it turns into some harrowing experience. I end up climbing up on the girders hundreds of feet up and trying to leap across a breach. Anytime I stay in a hotel room, I end up forgetting to take my stuff with me when I leave, then it becomes a mad dash to return to the hotel, which then turns into some MC Escher like maze when I enter it, I forget my hotel room number, and all attempts at recovering my things are thwarted. Then I usually end up leaving my guns and other valuables there because I just can't figure out how to get back to my room. Anytime I go to use a public restroom, I'm always barefooted and the floor is wet with urine. |
