Just looking through Ebay and thought I would check and see what Keymod rails were being listed.   Rousch USA has a 10inch Keymod  for $75 shipped and it comes with 6 rails add to accessories.
Has anyone bought from them or heard of them before?  Looks like they claim that everything is made in Texas.
Linky
Thanks for any info.

They have a facebook page if that helps. Bought a "milspec" ambi safety from them, supposed to come today. I'll  see if it's any good.

Thanks for the post, I've been reading through Facebook and Ebays reviews.  Some people are just retarded for what they will leave negative reviews for!

Just was wondering if anyone in the hive had any experience with them.

No problem, gonna stop at my local AR parts supplier after work today too so I'll  ask em if they've  heard of or dealt with Rousch before.

That is what I was thinking.  I really like the Noveske NSR.  The Rousch looks like it is a lot thicker in the walls.

I have a Rousch (sp?) A2 flash hider I've used on a few different guns before putting on a better muzzle device. I like it cause it's black, not gray or brown, and the finish has never come off, for what that's worth, got it from them thru Amazon.

I saw their stuff on amazon so I googled the company. It appears they are based out of PA somewhere.

I ordered a 10" rail. I'll compare it to a few NSR rails and post back.

The easiest way to describe this real is as a less refined copy of the Noveske NSR.

The barrel but is the same as the NSR, the rail is the same albeit a little thicker, sharper, and a smooth finish.

The weights seem to also be the same.

Here are some quick photos,

I don't have my tools to torque the barrel but on currently and won't have them until I settle down next month but I get mount to a reciver when I get home tonight and give you guys an idea.

Funny thing, the company is based out of PA? But the box shipped from Austin, TX. Also, it doesn't have that Chinese smell that all cheap products seem to have, but the packaging I which the rail came in (not the USPS padded envelop) sure as shit looks Chinese'y (white thin cardboard)

I would love for this to be a great rail and like the price but not if its Chinese made. Lhasa anyone gotten in contact with the manufacture? Anyway we could find out who is actually producing these things.

Also, the complete ripoff of the NSR is kinda of a shitty move.

Sure looks like it is the same.
I will say this, they are super-fast in their shipping.  I ordered it at 11 pm on Thursday night and it is out for delivery today! If I get the time today, I will mount it on an upper and see how it holds up.  My brother (he is on the road as a semi driver) is wanting to know right now how it fits.

Oops, I forgot about this thread. Got the ambi safety and it is nice for the price. Milspec style looks to be heat treated steel, fit was good no slop and a bit of a shoulder on right side for thicker lowers if thats what yer runnin'. Might have to look at some more items from them.

that barrel nut screams CIM tactical... I was directed to buy parts from them when I needed a replacement for my PSA SQR rail.

I guess the dude makes rails for a bunch of different manufacturers and etches their logo on it. not sure if this is one of the CIM contracted rails or not...

Well, I finally got around to mounting the rail but it did not come with instructions. I've emailed them and ask for instructions.

I tried to mount it but could not figure out the spacer rings.

The rail seems to be of okay quality.

Will update when I get it put together.

Rausch got back with me the day that I emailed and sent instructions to me.  Seems to really be on top of things.

Finally got my brother's upper together. The 12 inch rail seems to mount up solid.  The mounting screws are a little smaller than what I am used to.  I did struggle a bit getting the rail to square up flush with the upper's rails.   It is still just that wee bit off , my wife seems to think that it is okay but it's still not where I want it.
Over all I don't have any big problems with it. As a poster above has mention, the edges are sharper and the finish has a rougher texture to it.  If I was not comparing it to a NSR, I would say that it fits and feels good in the hand.

The six (add on) accessory rails are too long (7 slots with 1/4 slot at each end) and end up getting in the way.  There is no QD swivel mounting holes but my NSR does not have it either.

When comparing it to the NSR, I would say that if the NSR is a 10, the Rousch is in the 6-7 range .  I can take pics but I can never seem to get them posted here.  If someone wants to post them, I can email them to you.

Feel free ask any questions,

Thanks

Finally got it together and I like it.  Not as much as the NSR but for the money,  I like it.

Edit:  I forgot that I'd already posted an update (crazy TBI)!!! Should have read my last post.

My brother hasn't picked it up yet but everyone that has handled it seem to like it!  Will post another update once we shoot it.
