Over the last couple of weeks I have noticed my screen back arrow at the top of the page has quit working, only while surfing arfcom.  Now that the nsa is being dismantled I thought the problem would go away. Anyone else have this problem?

Yes. I sometimes have to hit the back button several times (or backspace) for it to work. Even then, sometimes that doesn't do the trick and the page that I'm currently on just reloads.

Also, it seems to happen most of the time (or all- can't recall) in GD.

Try clearing the cache and history on your browser and see if that helps.

Internet Explore...don't use it....

Would help to know which browser you use, and if it is indeed IE, you should just burn your computer.   IE = the debil

Firefox private browsing. Don't have the issue on my phone, but do on a PC.

Your electrical contacts are dirty.

The most efficient cleaning method is to place the computer, mouse and monitor in the dishwasher.  If your dishwasher has a sanitize cycle it will also remove any viruses.

I have run into this on some pages (not on ARFcom), where an area loads a new ad every few seconds.  Hitting back, only serves to go to the prior ad.  Have to hit back enough times, to get through all the ads that loaded while reading the page, before back actually goes 'back'.

Doing the same on Chrome, too.

Every time I press it a black helicopter shows up hovering over my house.

Same here.  Probably has something to do with all the goddamn ads.  This site's become a cartoon.

Could it be that you're inadvertently opening up new tabs?  I know that if a thread is clicked from your Subscriptions tab, you'll end up opening a new tab rather than going directly to the thread in question.

Not sure if that helps.

Cheers,

Spenny
