Whats the best stuff to use to get rid of the water marks on your car's windows and prevent the whitish color haze/film that builds up on the inside of your windows?

Thanks for your help.

The windows are etched, Klasse AIO with a terry bonnet should remove it using a Porter Cable Random Orbit polisher or a glass polish from Autogeek.net.  Vinegar will sometimes work if the etchings are not too deep.  I have also used 0000 steel wool to remove residue on glass that cleaners have trouble removing.

To prevent water spots dry your car after you wash it.  Also, don't park by sprinkler systems.  Hard water is what leaves the water spots.

No clue what haze/film you're referring to as I've never had that problem on the inside of my windows.

Don't smoke in your vehicle and you won't have haze on the inside.

Best stuff that I have ever used for this is Duragloss Nu-Glass.

For some people vinegar and water will work, but not for me here in central PA with the high calcium content in the water.

Outgassing from a lot of the synthetic materials used in automobiles contributes to hazy window interiors.

Get some good automotive glass cleaner. Spray lots on the window. Scrub with a microfiber towel. Then dry with -seriously- clean newspaper.

Also don't even bother if the car is out in the bright sun. You need shade and cool glass to get them looking really good.

I believe that haze is the result of out gassing from the dashboard materials.

I use barkeepers friend to get spots and stuff off the outside of the windows.
