I had a CBC done at my physical last month and found out I have nucleated red blood cells floating around in my blood.  Dr. is setting up an appointment with an oncologist, which should be next week sometime.  Can I get life insurance at this point?  I haven't been diagnosed with anything yet.

I would think so at long as nothing is official yet.  Prayers out that it's just a scare....

Depends on what questions they ask you.

Word of advice, be truthful. Failure to answer truthfully can constitute insurance fraud.

I called my home owners insurance company today to get a quote.  I thought the best bet would be to get a policy without having to see a doctor.  But the guy asked me if I have been advised to have any surgery or labs or procedures that have not taken place yet.  I was honest because it would end up causing more trouble than it was worth.

They will likely get access to these results and underwrite accordingly.  It's worth a try though.  It might still be open enrollment time at your work.

I believe the doctor want to rule out a leukemia or such.  These are highly curable.  What is your age?

You can try,  but the insurance company will draw blood too.
