Well I thought it was interesting, continuous sonar, not that scrolling from right to left like most fish finders

Seems like the logical direction to go not much more they can do with side/down imaging.

Yeah, I guess instead of scanning straight down, it scans at a 45 deg angle with a wide beam from the boat and just updates the whole screen instead of scrolling it right to left.
