I've always been a fan of Toyota, but haven't owned a truck since my 1990 ext cab v6.   It was a great truck.   Flash forward 25 years.   I'm looking at a 2013 Tacoma 4dr 4x4  TRD Sport package.   Local dealer has it.  22k miles.   Asking price is 31,900.   Anything I need to know about the 2013 era models ?

What kind of offer should I throw at them ?

Compare that price to new truck price, doesn't sound like much of a deal to me.

The hood scoop looks alright, but it will reflect the sun back into your eyes at almost every angle. Just fyi.

Enjoy it. My 08 has been awesome.  I'd offer 27.

I drive an 08' TRD Sport...  Picked it up w 40k miles for 24,000 in 2012.  I think that price is probably reasonable.  Very nice truck, absolutely love it

You can get a brand new 2015 TRD Sport, 4dr, 4x4 with Nav for 33,160 so his asking price is a bit high, especially with the new model coming out very soon.  If it has the trans and color combo you  want, I would offer $28k or so max or pony up a bit more and get a fresh one off the lot.

I paid around 33K for a 2014 TRD Offroad Double Cab 4X4 with Nav. In August of 2014.

If you have good credit then a used Tacoma makes no sense to me. with the minimal price difference compared from new to used you might as well but new and get exactly what you want.

I usually only say this for the Tacoma due to the super high resale value.

IMHO, the newest Tacos aren't a shadow of the one you had 25 years ago.

Good, I paid 31500 before taxes tags and other options for my 2015 sport 4 liter auto trans with tow package.  I do love the truck though.
