I bought a case of Federal XM80CL ammunition. The box is labeled as 149 grain full metal jacket.
I opened the box and looked at it and it has a Hollow Point tip. It looks a lot like a match bullet. I am wondering if this is normal or if it is possible that I got a mislabeled case of ammunition and it is an open tip match bullet. Has anybody seen this before? |

That and pull a bullet and get a weight. Maybe you lucked into a case of M118LR or something goofy. |
