What would you do if you came out of a store/building and someone was sitting on your bike?

Earlier at work I walked past the open garage bay door, look out, and there is some guy sitting on my bike! I walked up to him and asked "Hey, just what the fk are you doing? That's my bike!" To which he replied: "I liked it. I dunno." I then asked him if he would let me mount his wife since he could mount my bike.

How fucking inconsiderate people can be. Look but don't touch. You didn't buy it, you're not paying for it, and you sure as hell aren't going to own up if you damage it. Get your own bike to deposit your nasty crotch sweat on, Don't wipe it on mine.

I'd do what you did...except tell him that I'd ride his wife...at least without seeing her first.

This isn't motorcycle related but when I was a kid my dad took one of his planes to an airshow where some jackass decided it would be a good idea to place his crotchfruit on the ailerons of the plane (clearly marked "NO STEP") and take a picture. My dad jumped on the hood of his car and walked over the top of it and asked him how he liked it as he berated him for endangering his safety.

Only wannabes do that. They dont think it's not much different as if you were to sit in their unlocked car at a shopping center.
5/14/2015 3:42:42 PM EDT

I'd say the same. There shouldn't be any other response besides getting the fuck off my bike.

Wolf stare as I walked up and hopefully they would get the message and unass.

If they didn't I would just say "excuse me bro, that's my bike."

No use getting into a fight over petty stuff that 15 minutes later won't matter anyway.

Same thing happened to my dad too. He found someone's fuck trophy bending his fixed trim tabs back and forth on both the elevators and rudder. He tore the guy a new one.

Make sure you are kicking the opposite side of the side stand.

This.

A few summers ago a friend on his Busa met me at a restaurant downtown and when we came out some douche was sitting on his bike messing with it. All the could get out was "HEY" and the guy looked at us, got off and started walking away really fast. We watched him go up to a corner and another guy in a pickup truck pulled up, stopped and he jumped in then sped off. We guessed that my friend was about ten seconds away from having his bike stolen and it was just pure luck that we walked out right at that moment.

Little hyperactive unruly kids can be bad about touching a motorcycle as well.  Flipping the switches and stuff.

That's VERY rude, but people have a disconnect of tact and common sense when it comes to getting on someone else's bikes. I don't know what it is or why it exists, but it does.

Dispatch: 911, what's your emergency?
BR416: Yes, I need police assistance in beating someone.
Dispatch: Uh, I don't understand, can you be more specific about your problem?
BR416: A total stranger is sitting on my motorcycle park in a parking lot.
Dispatch: Ok, I'll have a nearby unit swing by.  What kind of motorcycle is it?
BR416: Ducati 748
Dispatch: Ah.  I'm sending more units to assist with the beating.
Dispatch: Sir, please stay on the line.  Better yet, can you put your phone on speaker phone, I'd like to hear this.

I came out of a store one day to find a man picking up his toddler and placing him on my Ducati 916 a couple of years ago.  Like many Ducatis, the sidestand is "quirky" and the bike can pretty easily fall over if it moves forward or if someone takes weight off the stand.

I walked up and asked him not to put his child on my bike.  Not only because it's rude, but because I didn't want the child to get hurt if it fell.  (Not to mention my bike.)  I wasn't impolite or loud about it at all because I didn't want to upset the little boy...it wasn't his fault his dad was a jackass.

The man got all upset and said if I didn't want people sitting on it, I should leave it at home.  Then he picked up his son and walked off in a huff.  I just shook my head and rode away.

Happened to me with my first bike, but worse. I came out of a restaurant and found some fratboy jackass sitting on my Buell and his girlfriend taking pictures. I dropped my shit and asked him exactly what the fuck he thought he was doing. He gave me the whole "bro, relax bro" thing as he got off without setting the kickstand down first.
The bike goes down, he doesn't even attempt to catch it, and it hits the door panel of a dipshit that parked his Focus across the line into my spot. Bent my front and back brake levers, broke the windscreen out of the mount and shattered the turn signal. Would have broke the fairing if it wasn't for the frame sliders.

Brotwats insurance sent me a check that I used on my Speed Triple, and my wife saved me from an assault charge.

That's exactly what was about to happen. Most motorcycle thefts are a few guys going around in a pickup truck and throwing an unattended bike into the back. I've known several guys who had theirs stolen that way. Don't need to worry about steering lock or ignition. And almost every part on a Busa can get sold without even fucking with the VIN.

I have had that very thing happen.
Some dizzy bitch was sitting on my BMW while her dork boyfriend was taking pictures of her.
I walked up and took hold of the bars to make sure it did not fall over as I was barking pretty damn hard at her to unass herself NOW!!.

I came pretty close to knocking the shit out of her skinny ass boyfriend when he told me I was being unreasonably rude.
After he got a look at my facial expression they both moved on.

Exactly.  The 916 was (and I think it still is) fairly exotic looking and it gets a lot of attention, especially from kids.  If I'm standing there and they ask, I'll let them sit on it.  But I'll have my hands on it the whole time.

Sucks no matter what kind of bike it is.

I'll have to admit that I've never seen someone do that on a Custom built Harley.
Actually never seen anyone do it on any bike.
I've had several people stand around my bike admiring it. But nobody ever gets on it.
This is at big bike gatherings, or just at the store.

Hell If I see a bike I really like. I'll walk up and look at it.
But I'd never consider sitting on it!
You just don't do that, under threat of great bodily harm!

I came out of a restaurant one time and a smoking hot woman was sitting on my bike while her friend took pictures. I didn't like it and let her know as much but at that time I was a real softie for hot chicks. I offered to take her for a ride so we did and wound up dating for several months.  It worked out but if it had been a guy I would have had a similar reaction as OP.

Some guy had set his 5 or 6 yr old on my bike.

Smiled and talked to the little guy, took dad aside, and quietly told him he needed to ask next time.

Don't know if he got it or not.

Asshole.

Kid had a good time, though......

It must be.  I came out of my classroom and some little twerp (HS student) was mounted on my Multistrada.   When he saw me he pretty much fell off the bike trying to dismount.  That was the closest I have come to cursing out a student.

I've had people pose their kids on my Buell for a picture.  It's one of the few times I felt it acceptable to swear in front of children.  One of my buddies got his FXR tipped over that way and it nearly killed a kid.
