I dont know how many of you are into video games but Im getting pretty sick of the endings.

I just played through The Thing for XBox. Excellent game. Challenging but not hard to the point where you feel cheated. I neevr saw the movie but I guess the game is suposed to be a sort of sequel. Anyway, I just beat it and the ending was all of 20 seconds long! It set the game up for a sequel very nicely but I definately felt let down. The games story was very good but in hindsight it wasnt leading up to any dramatic conclusion, so I guess I shouldnt be very surprised.

Anticlimactism sucks.

Sorry, I have no sympathy. I only play HALO for the gratuitous violence.

HALO 2 is gonna be the shit, especially with XBox Live!

Video games are only cool when you can kill real people online.  MOH Spearhead is my favorite for that reason.

You should try XBox Live! Balzac.
Every game has voice so you can taunt each other. Plus unlike a computer theres never any compatibility issues or the ened to update drivers. The graphics are excellent and its wicked fun.

Just went through HALO and Medal of Honor Frontline. Not bad IMHO. Hedal of Honor could of been more realistic, but it was fun to play anyway.

I went all the way through Splinter Cell and the ending was anticlimactic as hell.  I was pissed!

So, are you a rocKeT noOb, a sniper-fag or do you use a _real_ weapon [;D]  I try to use the rifle but the hyperactive crack monkeys make it hard to hit anything.  The next version of MOH needs to have a 'fatigue' gauge kinda like Return To Castle Wolfenstein so as to cut down on the constant, nonstop running at full speed while jumping about.  Perhaps with a limiter on how many weapons of each type per team.  A squad/team of 10-12 guys & 4-5 of them carry bazookas + 3 (or more) snipers & the rest have BAR's?  More likely maybe 1 bazooka, 1 maybe 2 snipers, 2-3 BAR guys & the rest with smg or rifle.

That's gonna be quoted in a court record somewhere, someday.

You must have really hated the "SAW monkeys" in Delta Force 2.  Remember them?  Never walked, crawled or ran, just bounced like fucking Tigger all over the place, spraying at anything that moved and rarely hitting anything.  Alone, they were like killing gerbils.  But in packs, they shot the whole hizouse UP!

Me?  I was a "Base Raper" par excellance!

NO.  Don't tell me that.  I'm on the CIA building level.  I have to be at the very end because I have already captured the guy.  Just looking for a way out.

Don't get me wrong; the game itself is so kick-ass that the ending video and sequence is just not on the same level.  The game gets much more fun after the CIA level. (as I recall, getting that guy out of the bulding is a real PITA)

Splinter Cell is like reading a good book, I wanted the game not to end.

New missions are on the way via XBOX live or OXM demo disc. There are 11 missions planned to come out, but i'd expect more.

Only RPG's really have good endings anyway.

Never played Delta Force 2 but the Tigger-like nitwits must be universal in online-multiplayer.  "Base Raper"?  do I really want to know.....

Splinter Cell was really good and I didnt want it to end either. I remember Delta Force 2 SAW Monkeys. They are still around some in Delta Force Land Warrior. Dont seem to be as bad in Task Force Dagger. The Black Hawk Down MP Demo is really good and cant wait for the full version to release. GAME ON!

Rainbow 6: Raven Shield is due out soon.  From the looks of the previews, it's gonna be better than anything out there now.  I built a whole new computer just so I could buy this game!
