I built this myself.
Stamp for the SBR arrived earlier this week (submitted the beginning of January via snail mail).
The Octane 9 I have had for about six months.

You can pretty much see what I used to build it. The barrel is a 5" Tros with 3 lug.
Took it out yesterday. Runs great with my 147 gr hand loads (titegroup and Berrys plated).
Lots of fun. The bolt is louder than I expected, but still don't need ear pro.

What do y'all think?

Looks good. Is that a little bit of paint on the rear of your lower?

And sweet work bench from what I can see.

Looks good,

How does the 9mm suppressor work with 5.56?  and if you've tried does it work with .22?

9mm suppressors don't work with 5.56.  OP's gun is a 9mm.

That would explain the 147 grain bullets.

ETA:  this was supposed to be a reply to DontBuryMe's post.

Appreciate it.
I'm no carpenter. I've seen what the pros have done on here.
I built it using the plans from "The ABC's of Reloading" book.
The glossy finish is Enviro-tex. Durable and easy to clean.

He didnt say auto, he said automatic, as in 'instant' 10/10.

Nice job OP.

I think he means SBRs automatically get a 10/10.

You can get a wolff extra power spring or use a heavier buffer weight or both if your loads allow to delay bolt opening and decrease ejection port bark. Also, if you have a bolt catch that works you may need a buffer tube spacer so the bolt doesn't slam into the catch until it breaks (a common malady without spacer).

I meant a score of 10/10 is automatic, I'm aware it's a semi-auto gun in the picture.

If it was full auto, this would be a machine gun thread!

ETA: I see a couple other posters already clarified my post for me.

I have a friend with a suppressed SBR in 9mm.  With subsonics you literally only hear the bolt going back and forth.

Nice setup!

Very similar to the one I'm waiting for permission to build. Mine is 5.56 and the Samson rail is the keymod one, though.
