I just finished a series called The Great War Diary on Netflix and thought it was out standing. It's based on diaries of 14 survivors, both military and civilian from all sides of the conflict. SHTF hard all over europe in that war for both the soldiers and civilians as basic necessities were exhausted and blockades closed trade and this went on for years. Prepping is all well and good but who can lay aside enough supplies for a conflict of that duration? Besides that, those in occupied countries were impressed for labor, property seized for war use, food confiscated by soldiers and more and worse.
I'm interested to hear your thoughts if you have seen it and give it a plug for those who have not. |
