I like Applebee's. The local one here is good, even though a guy was gunned down in the parking lot last year. But still for the money not bad.

Applebees used to be good but I'd never go back. Last time I went everything was frozen and heated with a microwave except the bacon. Tasted like that crap they serve at McDonalds. Between the loud obnoxious children, the fat FSA parents unwilling to control their crotch fruut, the neck beards in the kitchen and the B.O. of the illegal dishwashers. I'd rather stay home and fix a steak ultra rare the way real men eat.

I used to travel a lot for work. One of my regular stops, the Applebee's was in the same lot as the hotel I stayed at so I ate there quite a bit just out of convenience. Walk over, have a few beers and a steak or whatever and walk back to the hotel.

Most of what I had there I thought was pretty good to be honest. But I don't have the refined tastes of some Arfcommers I guess.
