Love those strong walls they were able to bust open.

I'm sure they left a 4473 on the counter. You know, cause we have universal background check now.

Fer safety.

Interesting placement of the breech. Looks like someone did some measuring before execution of the smash part of that one. Wonder if that back wall is something accessible to the public from inside?

Yeah, wtf?  It didn't even break the grill or headlights, just a little pinstriping down the sides and a busted mirror.  To quote Pete, that don't make no sense.

Doesn't look like a tilt-up wall to me.  I don't see any concrete ruble like a tilt-up wall would leave.  I do see something like chicken wire, which makes me think that was nothing but a stucco over exterior sheetrock wall.

Not good for any sort of security like a gun shop needs.  There should have been bollards to prevent a vehicle from getting near that wall if they didn't build a secure storage room in the shop.

Looks like metal stud wall with Dens-Shield, foam, and EIFS. No masonry or concrete involved in that one. Chicken wire reinforcing for the stucco coat.

They build a lot of them like that here in the West.

As mentioned, burglary.

Smells like an inside job, or where the crooks scoped out that place pretty good. Around here gun shops ask you not take pics or video of the insides of the store (4473 info, and security risk they say).

I've known very few shops that safe every gun each not. Good luck doing that with a floor inventory of 400-500 firearms and a couple hundred more off floor in overstock.

Correct.  Robbery is the taking of the chattel of another through force or fear.  Burglary is the entering of a premises to commit a felony.

Looking at it's strata suggests it isn't much of a wall.

There is a store in SoCal which had a drive through smash-n-grab. The landlord refused to allow the LGS owner to install bollards.

I'm sure there is more damage than what is visible in the picture. From the picture the mirror took more damage than the bumper, hood area.

I should have clarified with "of the ones that aren't built as a safe room"

The bigger stores I've been in always appear to be cinder blocks or heavier. The strip mall stores that are just a cage front door/windows, always seem to pack it up.
