Anybody here seen a decent deal on 5.56 stripper clips lately? I'm needing to buy some more and prefer to buy in volume, but I'm not finding anything with my searches that's anywhere near what I consider reasonably priced. My Google-Fu must be weak...
Any good suggestions? |

You're welcome. ![]() You've been around long enough to remember this name. I still have a large box full of stripper clips that I bought in 1999 or so from Paul Podhorn, aka Paul_308. |

Aren't you just the helpful one there 13'er...
As I said, I've already searched Google and found very few results in the first 4 or 5 pages of results. SOME people here are actually helpful and don't mind sharing when they've found a decent deal on things, so I thought it would be worth asking. Some people, on the other hand just like to be smart asses. |

How many you want? This is where I buy mine, I hope they're good to go as far as arfcom Staff is concerned, if not just delete. All you need here You're welcome, they have all kind of stuff here, good people too. |

$6 for 4? You need to visit that web site posted above, you can get 50 for $8. |
| I don't recommend old sarges as I bought 600 and got more kitty litter and sand than clips. Advertised as once used great shape but over half I believe where tumbled in kitty litter type material and it was wedged between the steel and brass on 100+ making them useless as that plugged the expansion space for the case rim. On top of that a lot of them lost what looks to be over half the phosphate coating being tumbled and where very shiny compared to new. I'm sure they where rusted weathered clips that had been tumbled until the rust was gone. On top of that 20 or so where missing a tab or both and atleast the same amount where bent and unusable. Overall I ended up with 250-300 that are what I expected when ordering the others either trash or range throwdowns after my first use. They were the cheapest place I could find. I would of paid double for one time use in excellent shape. |

All you need here You're welcome, they have all kind of stuff here, good people too. That's who I bought from last time but their shipping charges are crazy. I seem to recall reading about an obscure source somewhere out in the AZ/NM area a while back that had them in very large lots for a reasonable price. Google turned up nothing so I figured it was worth a shot to ask GD. I have no problems with Old Sarge, but the $18 to ship something that'll fit in a small flat rate box for $5.95 just kinda rubs me wrong. Thanks for the suggestion though! |

| I didn't realize they were hard to find but it makes sense. ASP's don't require they be turned in so units throw them in the trash along with the spoons, bandoliers and cardboard. Only thing the ASP wants back is the brass, ammo boxes and wood crates. The wood crates get tossed too. The brass and ammo boxes go to Uncle Sam's Retail Outlet these days I guess. |

You could always call them and see if they will ship to you via a cheaper ship method? It might be worth a shot anyway. |
