Who is this youtube guru? He's incredibly perceptive, articulate, vast knowledge base, has super long range shooting skills, has his own rock band, and doesn't seem to slow down as he's currently battling cancer. From what I've seen the guy doesn't go into a lot of his background. I did an internet search and there were at least a half a dozen different automated paraphrased questions about his background, so clearly he's getting people's attention.

| I don't know his background, but I've been subscribed for a while and I've watched most of his Sniper 101 series. He is VERY knowledgeable and seems to enjoy what he does. Not many shooters know the level of physics that he does that are involved with shooting. I've swapped a few PMs with him where he went into detail on the trig behind some stuff, and his explanations were clear and concise. |

there's an ongoing thread on him in the Precision Rifle forum. very interesting guy for sure. of well above average intelligence, & understands the subject so thoroughly as to make the teaching of it seem easy. a human being w/ a rare confluence of gifts/skill sets. would be nice to have 10 of him on Youtube, & 10,000,000 of him in the population.

He has some very interesting and informative videos. I found it strange, though, that during his scope mounting video, he went through all of this methodology about mounting the base, rings and scope. When it came time to level the scope he though eyeballing it was the most precise method.

Apparently he did serve, but that's all I've seen him admit to. He credits his dad for his shooting abilities. I just found his music......he's very well gifted there too. |
