Get it taken out and be done with it.
Hopefully a good looking nurse will shave you.

The only thing that made my 2am trip to the ER for my appendectomy enjoyable was that lovely nurse performing grooming duties

So when the nurse said "You have acute appendicitis." Did you say "thanks baby, you're not so bad yourself."

Nah, the nurse that gave me the official diagnosis was some big, nasty witch.

I did ask the one grooming to not wreck my beautiful manscape, though.

that's what happened to me.  I was 15 and 3/4,  so i got put in Peds unit cause I was under 16.  But I was 6'2" and 215lbs,  first person in after surgery was this super cute nurse from the local college,  about 5 years older than me, to give me a sponge bath.

we both blushed all the way through that, although it was thoroughly enjoyable. I wound up dating her a few times a few years down the road.....

It made the stay more fun.

definitely don't let it start leaking, unless you like laying on a bed for about a week stuffed full of antibiotics and getting yourself sponge baths.  if you can preguarantee a hot sponge bath nurse, maybe let it burst, but after the hot chick the first day,  the next day I got this 300 lb beefalo that was mean as hell.  So I'd recommend don't let it start leaking.

Laparoscopic.  You want it (if surgery is required).

Traditional method is to gut you like a hog, take it out, and leave you for weeks to recover.

I did, a nice stay in the hospital.

you say "again"  have that thing taken out now, before it explodes in your gut.

Surgery went well. I'm a bit sore but so far so good. Most of the staff here are easy on the eyes.

They tried to do mine laparoscopically, but had to cut me wide open. Recovery was many months, not weeks.

Good luck brother. I was on a trip a couple of years ago and waited a little too long to go to the ER.
I almost died and had gangrene in my abdomen.

So fat not too bad I have the good pain meds but. Haven't been taking them since this morning. Advil hopefully from here on out. When a gas buble moved lets just say I notice it. Three small incisions one by by belly button one about 3 inches below my rib cage on that side.  And one about 2 inches below my belly button. No memory drugs so I remember the OR and the staff. I have nothing but positive things to say about the nurses.

I had almost a panic attack on table before they got the sleepy drugs into me. They took great care of me.
