So I recently just got an Amex Blue. Love the credit card, Get a point for every dollar I spend and no annual rate. But it seems like everyone is dropping Amex and they are heading down the toilet. I thought Amex used to be the standard for credit cards?

I used to have one for work and a lot of the suppliers I use wouldn't take AMEX.

I had to switch it up because it got annoying.

lots of places don't use amex so there is always that. I prefer visa, specifically some of the chase credit cards out there.

Who is dropping Amex? They lose one relationship with Costco and all of a sudden everyone is dropping them?

They charge the merchants higher fees to take AMEX we dropped them years ago.

I love my Costco Amex. As a matter of fact, as soon as I get dressed and get my ass to the Post Office, I will have my check for about $800-$900 Cash Back for using the card. The only thing that sucks is you have to go to Costco to cash it.
