Saw it last night at the theater with a couple of my hockey buddies.  Excellent documentary, funny, and packed with tons of insight you'll never get anywhere else.  If you are a hockey fan, it is a must see.  If you simply want to get a better appreciation for the Miracle on Ice game, it is a must see.

They don't dwell on the Miracle game much, but the entire documentary helps you understand just how good that Soviet team really was, and how much of a miracle upset that win in 1980 was.

Also, great insight into life behind the iron curtain, and what that meant for these players.  My only complain is that it was over too soon...I could have sat there another half hour/hour.

I'd love to see the filmmakers do a sequel that focused more on the early defections too, like Mogilny and Fedorov.  The focus here was on the Russian 5 though.

Anyways, go see it, hockey fan or not.

Don't care for hockey, but it does look like an interesting film (for the glory of the Russian motherland)
