I forgot my initial password on another computer to be able to log on.

I didn't make the password recovery disc ( yeah, I know.....dumbass) so now this dumbass is looking for a way to recover or reset my password to log on to the computer.

I tried Password Resetter, which is horseshit since it requires you to open the CD ....that would be great if I could get past the fucking password.

Anybody got any better ideas other than formatting the whole hard drive and starting from scratch?

Remove your CMOS battery for about 15 minutes, then replace.  May reset password.

Is this worth $75-150 to you? - maybe less depending where you live - maybe more.  Maybe you know some really sharp IT guy with an awesome set of "tools"?

There are software tools the IT professionals use, I know my staff has tons of them and can break into virtually anything.  We are a MS affiliate, but not all these tools are MS sanctioned.  Either a professional IT support firm or a total geek should be able to break in for a price, and be in and out the door in 15 minutes.

Call reputable companies, explain your situation and ask for a price - I know we could guarantee success and a price if I understand your situation correctly.

This has nothing to do with a Windows password.

This typically involves booting off the cd drive with some tools.  http://www.hirensbootcd.org/resetting-windows-password/

Hirens boot CD can get you what you need.

Hope this helps!

Download the.iso for trinity rescue kit on another computer and burn it to a cd.

Pop the c into the drive on your computer and boot from the cd.

It will allow you to reset the password of your account or the administrator account.

Problem solved.

Thanks for the responses...I knew I could count on ArfCom for help.  If anybody sees a problem with the youtube I used, please reply.  That way others on here can benefit from my buffoonery.
