A good pair of socks for your good pair of boots.
One good looking outfit that is boot compatible. A retirement fund and some personal investments. At least one good axe and one good shovel. A set of jumper cables and a fully inflated spare tire. A tow strap or chain for the back of the truck. Yes, I said truck. TRUCK. A truck. I said. TRUCK. Even an old rusted shit bucket that is only used for occasional hauling. A good wingman. Any close friend you can trust with your wallet, wife, and favorite gun. Bonus points if all four are the same person. A stable job or career. The ability to find a replacement job if necessary. The ability to find a replacement woman if necessary. Tools. Be able to fix stuff around the house. Or at least keep things running until a pro can show up and unfix and refix your shit. Clean bed sheets. Old man drinking strength is always great. Old man strength is better. The ability to defend yourself, barehanded. No need to be a master, just be able to push, punch, duck, and dodge like a man. |
