I just found something I got about 18 months ago that I had frgotten all about. Its a barcode reader you hook up to your pc. When you scan the UPC of any major product it will take your web browser to that companies website.

Heres the really interesting part. It also came with the cables to hook up your pc to your TV so that when the news was on it would take your PC to online covergae of the news story.

Anyone else have one of these?

uhhh, it is rumored that these also track what you scan and send that info back to the 'man'.

It crashed and burned like many dot com bombs. The plus side is that you can use it like a bar code scanner if you ever have the need for one.
