My insurance (Royal Sun Alliance) just got cancelled due to non-payment of premium, despite the fact that the insurance company received payment BEFORE coverage was cancelled.  As a result, my agent is trying to find me coverage on my home owners' and car insurance.

Several of my payments have been late in the past, as a result, I have been put into the "high credit risk" category.  They payments WERE made, mind you, it's just that a few of them have been late.

At this point, I would like to find a company and agent who can cover both my car, homeowners', and personal umbrella insurance and I am desperately seeking advice.  I do not need specific coverage advice, but I am trying to find a company and agent who has "done right" for people like me in the past.

ANY HELP THAT ANYONE CAN GIVE WOULD BE GREAT:Y APPRECIATED!!

Thanks!

I have the types you mentioned with American Family.  I have no idea if they operate in your state.  I have been pleased for 25+ years.

You could also try National Grange if they write policies in your state.

Thanks, guys.

I just spoke on the phone with GEICO (the green gecko people).  So far, I like what I've heard.  I'm going to speak in detail with them tomorrow.

Until then, please give me whatever input you can.  I do appreciate it.

I use Amica and so does the rest of my family including my brother who is always late with his payments.
I also know that they are fast with car repairs because my girlfriend has:

>Backed her car out of the garage with the car door still open
>Hit the garage on the way in
>Hit the mailbox
>Backed into a pine tree
>Hit a large yellow concrete post
>You get the point, she's made more trips to Sharon Autobody than to the gas station.
I also like getting those annual dividend checks.
