Anyone have it? Do you like it? I'm looking for any and all experiences with it, thoughts etc.

Thank you.

My Dad has it in his house and his 40'x80' shop. The house uses loops in a pond and has worked great for the last 7 years. His shop has the loops underground keeps the shop around 60 all winter no problem and plus side is a nice air conditioned place I can sneak my junk into during the summer. I was looking into it for my house but the cost difference was too much for me, almost twice as much as a NG unit.

I had hoped for a little more. I can't say I've lived in a basement.

Was burning 1,000 gal of oil/year plus 2-400 mo. Electric bills in a 3,000 sf house.

We keep it cool, 65ish in winter and under 70 all summer here in SE PA.

Switched to geo back in 07 and now run about the same electric bills but without the cost of oil in winter.

Three wells each 250 feet.

Whole system was about $35k.

Did it when oil hit $4.29.

Not as much savings now but would do it again.

Very comfy heat. You're not combusting anything in the house so there's no static.

Make damn sure you get a contractor who knows his shit.

Friends just installed geo with their remodel and the dude screwed the pooch.
