OK yesterday I came home and my computer has a window that says
"software download complete." with an "instal now" and "instal later" button I do not remember downloading anything, conceivably it should be something like a Java update I guess. But it seems fishy to me, something official would be "instal Java update now" When I click instal later it comes back up within the hour. Is there anyway I can check what it is?

Look at the top right hand corner of your browser, see the blue arrow? Click on that and it should drop down a list of the last several items you downloaded, anything there you don't recognize? The screenshot looks like you might have some malware trying to get itself installed. |

The little annoying popup is tied to a "Process" in the Task Manager called "UA.exe" Kill it and the popup will disappear.
It is also connected to an application entitled: "Verizon Wireless Software Utility for Android -- Samsung" Microsoft Forums Link Norton Community Link |
