Happy New Year everyone,
I've been lurking here for five years now. Building my first AR at that time brought me this way. I'm not big on anything like social media so I was hesitant to join. A few threads recently brought me in if only to say hello and thanks. First off, Drudge use to be the first thing I hit when I opened my computer. It seemed to be the best possible news source. Not anymore. AR15.com has had so many scoops in the last year or so that I don't get around to Drudge a lot of times now. Second, all the times AR15.com has rallied to bring a good dog to a good home, I love those threads, would have loved to participated in some of the relays to make it happen. (if there are any that need to go through my neck of the woods and I can help out I will from now on) Finally, that thread with the guy whose girlfriend's kids were about to go back to the abusive father. WOW. I know people respond differently to different kinds of stress at different times. That guy was a little overwhelmed and was about to make a bad decision. He wisely sought out some advise and AR15.com set him straight right quick. That was awesome. My hat is off to all the members who have contributed so positively in these situations, thanks for making this a great place to start my day. Chuck |

It's "a FNG" not "an FNG." For some, grammer counts around here. http://i813.photobucket.com/albums/zz55/ma96782/fonz.jpg Aloha, Mark Fail. Twice. |

So, OP, how is the pension plan at the CIA these days? I wish… I recently calculated my retirement planning. I should be able to retire when I'm about 93, so I have that going for me. (just figured out the whole quote/response thing. I'm also a complete computer idiot in case that wasn't self evident) |

(Pun half way intended)

Threads like this make me glad that I didn't try to do an introduction for myself. I took the "get drunk and post a whole bunch" route. The hometown forums would have probably have been a better place to post this thread. You see, I told the Supergrades that was how I should do my infiltration, introduction. |

I still think he does work for the feds. Well... fuck it... FBHO. I really don't think that, by the way. |
