So i talked to my dad about a smart TV a few weeks ago, he needed a small TV for their bedroom. He was really wanting to go the 4k smart TV rout because my brother just picked up a 80 something inch 4k Smart TV,
Also to add, they do have wirless internet, but its the small town, someone put up a antenna somewhere on a tall tree and they get maybe 500k DL, and they also only have an antenna for TV. So after our conversation i had him talked into the cheap $200 Walmart 32" "dumb" TV because they wouldent be able to tell the difference. So i talked to him today and sure as shit they got a 32" 1080P Smart TV from best buy for around $600 
thats not the worst part... He was telling me how awesome it was, but then said he refused to hook it up to the internet 
I just dont get it... but i know, its their money and all

My parents are like that. My mom refuses to shop online, my dad has had an iphone for 3yrs n has no idea how to use it. They always pay way too much for shit bc my mom wont compare prices she just buys shit.
Ive tried n tried to help them but they refuse to learn, its worse that teaching my kids. |
