| OK, this is a new one to me. Used and sold in the CMP. Anyone know anything about them? |

AUG, These rifles are set up as National Match type rifles, with free floated barrels, good triggers, etc, etc. Twist is generally 1/8. If you are a regular 'tin can shooter' save your money. If you are a competitive shooter, go for it. BTW, these rifles are pretty whippy about what you feed them, so plan on handloading and experimenting with loads. There's a small amount of truth to someone who said that they shoot most factory ammo WORSE than an issue piece, but shoot handloads like a champ. You ought to be able to get UNDER 1/2" groups out of them. |

Frank White is a well respected smith and has some of his work featured in John Feamster's "Black Magic: The Accurate AR-15" They are designed primarily for competition, but Frank and Theresa also make rifles for other applications. If you are looking for accuracy, you won't be disappointed. www.compasslake.com I think HTH....SRM |
